The EHC Hub is a secure web portal supporting the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) assessment, planning and review processes.
The purposes for which we are processing your personal data are:
- to facilitate the EHCP processes for a child or young person
- to provide you with access to a child or young person's details, as a person responsible for or working with the child or young person
- to send you notifications of activity relating to a child or young person that you must be made aware of
- to analyse use of the website
The data
As a user of the website, we will process the following personal data:
Name, email address, role/job title and IP address.
For users choosing to verify your account using a text message, we will also store your mobile telephone number.

Recipients
Data is available to designated council staff, including website administrators. It may be shared with our IT supplier for the purpose of maintaining the website.
Retention
Your personal data will be kept for as long as is needed to facilitate the EHCP processes for children and young people with whom you are supporting.
Your rights
You have the right to request information about how your personal data are processed, and to request a copy of that personal data.
You have the right to request that any inaccuracies in your personal data are rectified without delay.
You have the right to request that any incomplete personal data are completed, including by means of a supplementary statement.
You have the right to request that your personal data are erased if there is no longer a justification for them to be processed.
You have the right in certain circumstances (for example, where accuracy is contested) to request that the processing of your personal data is restricted.
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data where it is processed for direct marketing purposes.
You have the right to request a copy of any personal data you have provided, and for this to be provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
